Highlights • Venom-analog peptide, (p-BthTX-I)2K, inhibits SARS-CoV-2 infection and papain-like protease. • Bothropstoxin-I-derived peptide analog shows antithrombotic action. • (p-BthTX-I)2K prolonged aPTT and PT by blocking kallikrein and factor Xa. • Venom-analog peptide, (p-BthTX-I)2K, shows antithrombotic action without prolonging bleeding time.
