Garbage collectors live daily with the disposal of objects and food. The contempt of society for this class of individuals who present a precarious condition of life certainly has a negative influence on the lives of these workers. In order to minimize the suffering, the difficulties in which they live, countless garbage professionals seek comfort in drugs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the comorbidity between alcohol and drug use and mental suffering in landfill workers in Anápolis - Goiás.
