PAYROLL LOANS: DYNAMIC AND EFFECTS OF FLEXIBILIZATION OF THE FINANCING CONDITIONS

The proposed discussion focused on analyzing payroll loans in terms of growth and structure and the effects of the flexibilization of financing rules on the granting of this type of credit, considering the amounts contracted and the respective segments: public sector, retirees and pensioners, and private sector. The analysis of the results showed that, in spite of increasing, payroll-deductible loans have presented lower concession volumes, even with reduction in recent years, despite the flexibility of contracting rules; although the structure remained practically constant throughout the period, the fiscal crisis brought a new momentum to the granting of payroll and; the new concession rules had positive effects for the segment of retirees and pensioners, whose growth after flexibilization of contracting rules was twice that observed for the public sector segment
