The object of research, presented in this article, is the expert and consulting support of heads of formation of different level at adoption of administrative decisions.The purpose of this publication – the description of forms and methods of professional expert and consulting support of heads of the educational organizations and other experts of an education system at adoption of decisions by them in development of educational infrastructure.The conducted research shows a demand of consulting support at acceptance the decisions by heads in case of problem situations.Concrete orders for consulting services can regulate both a form of rendering services, and the content of consultations.The offered approach allows to define structure and the content of work of the expert-consultant: to define a circle of professional tasks of the expert-consultant, to structure work stages with the head taking into account his professional competence and the revealed administrative problems. On the basis of the conducted research the list of professional tasks of experts-consultants which takes into account necessary kinds of activity (information and analytical, research, design, organizational and administrative, pedagogical) is allocated. The allocated tasks allow to define professional competences, on the development and formation which has to be directed training of experts-consultants.The scientific and methodical material can be used when developing structure and the maintenance of regional and municipal consulting services in the field of education, during training of experts-consultants, and also when carrying out scientific researches of this subject.
