Background Maternal mortality is an important indicator of health status for any state, but that is largely affected by availability of skilled medical officer in vicinity. Clinical simulation including role play and manikins are important tools of adult learning principles and have been widely used in different clinical settings across the world, however not much used in India. So, we suggest this interventional research with capacity building of the department for future developments.
