Lomonosov's 300th anniversary

Abstract

In 2011, along with the International year of Chemistry, we are celebrating the tricentennial of Mikhail Vasilievich Lomonosov birth. This Russian illuminist is considered the father of his country's science and literature and also the first physical-chemist. This paper aims to divulge, as homage, to the community the main contributions of this outstanding scientist who knew like no one how to explore the limits of human intellect.
