Le correcteur grammatical : un auxiliaire efficace pour l’enseignant ? Quelques éléments de réflexion
Abstract
How can one assist teachers in terms of following the learner’s acquisition of a foreign language in an appropriate way? Can Information technology tools help, i.e., could a grammatical checker serve as a useful auxiliary for identifying mistakes, and problem spots requiring pedagogical intervention? Via Language Industries, various tools and techniques provide specific frameworks: spelling or grammatical checkers may be useful in certain situations. This contribution is pluridisciplinary (computational linguistics and didactics) and specifically addresses the functioning and utility of this sort of software for written French language learning.
