The main objective of this work was to evaluate the rain hail, after one year of low pluviosity on São Gonçalo stream located in Puiú sub-basin in Inhamuns backwoods. Average rain fall under its original conditions had a significant change and rains currently occurring in Ceará are due to the presence of a meteorological system known as Upper Level Cyclonic Vortex, which is more frequent in December to February. However, the occurrence of hail derives from the formation of cumulonimbus clouds that develop vertically. From the meteorological stand point, a systemic conception was adopted upon on-site observation of rainfall level measured by a pluviometer installed in dwellers’ houses in São Gonçalo stream area. Rainfall value indicators collected in December 2013 and January 2014 for weather analyses have been compared to limits determined by Ceará Foundation of Meteorology and Water Resources (FUNCEME), thus showing that the daily analysis of rains, as an environmental component, is critically important to indicate pluviosity in the area, while generating the farmer’s expectations.
