Schools should promote the teaching of human rights from a transformed pedagogy, based on an interdisciplinary approach that involves all individuals who make up the educational community. This article had the objective of analyzing how the Colombian system approaches human rights education, therefore, a bibliographic study of research conducted at national and international level in relation to the topic exposed was carried out, so it was considered necessary to address the theoretical aspects related to human rights education with the practice in education. It is evident, a minimum praxis of human rights, as it is reflected in antisocial behaviors. In addition, the urgency of structuring a meaningful pedagogy is revealed, in which human rights education is strengthened by notions of coexistence, all this articulated from the theoretical with the practical.
