Do pioneirismo à coxia: a memória banguense e sua relação com o turismo

Abstract

To look into Bangu and their socio ‑cultural peculiarities, it is perceived that things connected to this community demonstrates signs able to show an intricate network of meanings. Through a decentralized look at this object, it can be amplified values, characters, stories and explore social experiences that have settled there, always taking care to see it as a “mirror” of relations which would present looks and heterogeneous meanings able to present a new facet to understanding the formation of this community process. Thus, it is proposed here work with cultures, identities and memories of those who participate in the fabric of relationships in Bangu, trying to understand how their link with tourism can show that still neglect important aspects of memory of this carioca neighborhood.
