THE “CHRISTO G. DANOV” SCHOLARSHIP IN BOOK DISTRIBUTION AND PRINTING (1905–1944)

Abstract

The article examines an educational institution oriented to support the Bulgarian printing and book distribution activities through quality training of staff in foreign educational institutions. On the basis of archival documents and published information, a historical reconstruction of the functioning of the “Christo G. Danov” Fund at the Ministry of Public Education in the period 1905–1944 and of the personal biographies of its fellows is carried out.
