Investments in a higher education institution: theoretical analysis and financial and legal aspects

Abstract

The article establishes the relationship between European integration and revitalization of investment processes in higher education; the need for investing in a higher education institution was investigated; a theoretical analysis of the system of investment activity in the field of higher education in the scientific discourse was carried out; the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "investment in education" and "educational investment" are outlined; two approaches to the interpretation of investment in education are described (as a process of managing an educational institution and as a process of human capital development); legislative acts affecting investment in higher education are schematically displayed; the model "state - employer - institution of higher education - student" is proposed as a tool for solving the problem of legal regulation of investments in institutions of higher education; problematic aspects of the investment activity of the institution of higher education are listed and considered;
