Tumulus et pierres dressées dans la région de Las Geel (Somaliland)

Abstract

Surveys in the Las Geel area have allowed to identify three main types of stone structures. The authors present here the first comprehensive excavation carried out in Somaliland on a flat mound, belonging to a group of fourteen located in the vicinity of painted shelters. A perspective with the few studies carried out in East Africa on this type of monument is then proposed.
