WORD FORMATION OF NUMERAL DERIVATIVES IN THE EVEN LANGUAGE

Abstract

Purpose. The article is devoted to the study of derivation processes on the basis of numerals in the Even language. The author aims to identify the structural and word formative features of the numeral derivatives in the formative families with the top ɵm- in the Even language. Methodology. The formative familie method of studying word formation was applied in the study. The main research method is the descriptive one along with the methods of word-formation and semantic analysis. Results. The article establishes the derivational volume of the formative familywith the top ɵm- in the Even language. The main part of the derivatives are the numerals of various categories of the Even language, among derivatives there are a verb, a pledge form of a verb, nouns, an adjective, adverbs. The structure of the word-formation nest consists of syntagmatic and paradigmatic connections. High derivational activity has the first stage of word formation. Practical implications. The results of the workcan be used in studies of synchronous word formation of Even language, in comparative studies of derivative nomination of Even and other languages.
