Viral hepatitis is included in the top ten of the most common infectious human diseases. The fact that chronic viral hepatitis is getting younger nowadays is causing for serious concern. We have analysed a number of chronic viral hepatitis type B and C cases in Russia and Samara region over a period of ten years, using the linear regression model. The model of linear was used at the analysis of desease regress. According to the results of the research we observe that the morbidity rate of hepatitis B among the adult population tends to decrease whereas the children incidence is growing. The morbidity rate of hepatitis C keeps growing also. The main causes of the hepatitis C incidence's high growth are the lack of specific prophylaxis and the peculiarity of clinical course. Morbidity rate of chronic virus hepatitis among the population is important to assess the epidemiological situation in the country and in a separate region.
