PSICOANÁLISIS Y PSICOLOGÍA EN LA OBRA DE LOUIS ALTHUSSER // PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PSYCHOLOGY IN LOUIS ALTHUSSER’S WORK

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo reconstruir el itinerario intelectual de la obra de Louis Althusser respecto a sus relaciones con el psicoanálisis y la psicología. De acuerdo con nuestra hipótesis, Althusser recurrió al psicoanálisis con el objetivo de darle un uso particular: impugnar las ciencias psicológicas y la noción burguesa de sujeto. Así, el psicoanálisis habría servido al desarrollo de sus conocidas críticas a la categoría de sujeto, en tanto este se presentaría como una alternativa a las lecturas que consideran al “yo” como dominio de instancia psíquica // The objective of this paper is to reconstruct the intellectual itinerary of Louis Althusser’s work regarding its relationship to psychoanalysis and psychology. According to our more general hypothesis, Althusser resorted to psychoanalysis in order to use it in a particular way: to disprove both the psychological sciences and the bourgeois notion of subject. Hence, psychoanalysis would have been useful to the development of his well-known criticism of the category of subject. This would be presented as an alternative to the readings of the "ego" as domain of psychic instance.
