This article examines the missionary project adopted by the Calvinist predikants in Dutch Brazil, seeking to explain the aspects of the Jesuit methodology present in it. In this sense, he analyzes the Plan for Good Government of the Indians presented in 1635 to the board of directors of the Company of the West Indies, by Manoel de Moraes, a Jesuit who, converted to Calvinism, lived for eight years in the Netherlands acting as consultant to the Dutch in matters related to Brazil.
