One year follow up of a child with clinico-radiologically diagnosed left Thalomopeduncular Glioma
Abstract
Background Absence of or poor facility and equipment have been the bane of management of thalamic tumours in low-resource settings. Case presentation We present a case of a 3-year-old with clinico-radiologically diagnosed thalamopeduncular-cerebellar glioma, treatments and outcome. Conclusion In low-resource settings with high reliance on clinico-radiologic data, arriving at a diagnosis requires a high index of suspicion. Early institutions of basic definitive care could give a chance for a good outcome.
