the use of available light (it is any natural or artificial light or a mixture of them) is an artistic phenomenon where all types of available light can be used dramatically and adapted by the director of photography so that he can convey the dramatic meaning of the scene. Various artistic schools during the history of cinema, such as American classicism, German expressionism, Soviet cinema, Italian realism, and Dogma95 exploited them to express certain feelings and meanings, but they have reappeared strongly recently for several reasons, the most important of which are:1-The emergence of a new cinematic intellectual sect that saw the use of available light as a means to meet their artistic needs and satisfy their artistic desire and the ability to paint the image in a realistic way that more affects the recipient in believing the story and coexisting with it.2- In addition to the tremendous developments provided by modern technology on several levels, including the Camera sensors, its high dynamic range, fast response optical lenses, and editing and editing programs.
