Abstract

The issue of a fair wage is the object of the social teaching of the Church. Appropriate remuneration means meeting the demands arising from the principle of justice and the universal destination of goods. In each of these principles the first criterion for the use of normative order is the person in terms of his natural and supernatural vocation. The fundamental relationship between wage systems and human freedom has been pointed out in this article. Goods gained as a result of good work enable every person to deeply experience their own subjectivity. As a part of the making processes fundamental choices concerning liability for others have been made. Finally, a salary allows the development dynamics to be fulfilled which direction is determined by a human who take into consideration both his own abilities and the relationship with the divine order. The documents of the social teaching of the Church were the main resources in writing the article. The critical analysis of the text was used as the study method.
