We present an evaluation of the knowledge, attitudes and training on sexual diversity of university professors, as well as the level of prejudice towards transgender people that exists in this professional group. The sample is composed of 54 academics from seven colleges. A questionnaire was administered, consisting of the Transgender Inclusive Behavior Scale (TIBS) (Kattari, O’Connor, Kattari, 2018) and the Negative Attitudes toward Trans People Scale (EANT) (Paez, Hevia, Pesci, Rabbia, 2015). The lack of specific training on sexual diversity, transsexuality, transgender, and educational inclusion of transstudents highlights between the main outcomes. The findings also reveal low levels of prejudice against trans people in the professors who composed the sample, as well as attitudes towards their inclusion that can be improved. One of the main conclusions is the need for further research on these issues between health, education and other basic service providers.
