Aiming at exploring the effect of low water content and temperature on the electrochemical corrosion behavior of X80 pipeline steel in Shenyang soil simulated solution, the data of impedance spectrum and polarization curve were measured by weight loss test,AC impedance technique and potentiodynamic polarization technique, and analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).Results showed that as the water content increased from 10%to 30%,the product film was destroyed, which gradually aggravated the corrosion of X80 pipeline steel and generated large corrosion pits. The corrosion was the most serious when the water content was 30%.Moreover,electrochemical tests at different temperatures with extremely corrosive water content (30%) showed that the corrosion rate of X80 steel in Shenyang soil increased with the increase of temperature. At room temperature (16 °C),the product film of X80 steel was dense, the integrity was good, the coverage was uniform. It had a protective effect on the sample, and the corrosion degree was slight. When the temperature gradually increased to the abnormal temperature (65 °C),the corrosion rate of the sample was obviously accelerated, the product film on the surface of the sample was seriously damaged, the integrity and uniformity were poor, the corrosion products fell off in a large area, and the corrosion behavior was aggravated.
