Optimal PID and fuzzy logic based position controller design of an overhead crane using the Bees Algorithm
Abstract
Article highlights The mathematical model of the overhead crane was successfully developed using Lagrange’s Equation of motion. The Simulink model of the transfer function obtained from mathematical equations is done using MATLAB. The PID control parameters optimization uses well-known algorithms (GA and BA), and a Fuzzy Logic Controller is used to obtain a better control result.
