Modeling Stress-Strain State in Butt-Welded Joints after TIG Welding

Abstract

In this paper mathematical model was developed for definition of thermal-welding cycle influence on welding deformations distribution in flat samples of austenitic steels after TIG welding and developed recommendations to reduce the welding deformation on o the machinery for welding with a copper backing.
