إشكالية ترجمة فن الشعر لأرسطو ترجمة متّى بن يونس نموذجا

Abstract

الترجمة ضرورة حضارية فرضها الاحتكاك بين مختلف الشعوب على تعدد ألسنتها لمد جسور التعاون والتفاهم أو للتفتح على ثقافة الآخر، غير أنها تطرح العديد من الإشكاليات لاسيما ما تعلق منها بنسبية وفائها للنص الأصلي، كما أنها تخلق عراقيل كثيرة تجعل المترجم يواجه صعوبات عديدة قد تعود لعدم إلمامه باللغة المنقول منها أو إليها أو لصعوبة النص الأصلي أو لغياب المقابل الترجمي في اللغة الثانية، ولعل هذا ما أوقع المترجم السرياني أبا بشر متّى بن يونس (328هـ-939م) في الكثير من الهفوات أثناء ترجمته لكتاب "فن الشعر" للفيلسوف اليوناني أرسطو (384-322 ق.م)، لذا سنعمد في بحثنا إلى تتبع بعض مواطن الزلل والجودة في ترجمته لهذا الكتاب معللين سبب وقوعه في هذه الهفوات بذكر بعض العراقيل التي تعود للمترجم والكتاب والترجمة. - Translation is a civilized necessity imposed by friction between different peoples over the multiplicity of their tongues to build bridges of cooperation and understanding or to open up to the culture of the other. However, it raises many problems, especially those related to the relativity of its loyalty to the original text. It also creates many obstacles that cause the translator to face many difficulties, which may be due to his lack of familiarity with the language being transmitted to or from it, the difficulty of the original text or the absence of the translating equivalent in the second language. Perhaps this is what caused the Syriac translator Abu Bishr Matta ibn Yunus (328AH-939CE) to many mistakes during his translation of the book "The Art of Poetry" by the Greek philosopher Aristotle (384-322BC). Therefore, we will proceed in our research to trace some of the pitfalls and quality in his translation of this book, explaining the reason for his occurrence in these lapses by mentioning some of the obstacles that belong to the translator, book and translation. - Nouria Hatti - University of Mostaganem, Algeria
