Electronic records in state archives – results of a survey conducted in May 2015

Abstract

The text contains a summary of results of a survey performed in state archives between6th and 29th May, 2015. The objective of the survey was to gather information on amount of electronic records held currently by state archives, on their state of register, arrangement and description and storage, and to diagnose problems and difficulties met by archivists while working on electronic records. The results of the survey are supposed to serve for analysis of methods and procedures used while dealing with electronic records.
