Visualización de datos y clasificación Iconclass: un estudio de caso desde la perspectiva de las Humanidades Digitales

Abstract

The Data Visualization or Data Information is mapping to abstract graphic variables in order to build a visual representation of data. This research proposal is aimed at the field of Digital Humanities, as well as its application to the Historical studies. The line of study approaches the investigation of Roman mosaics in the Iberian Peninsula, deepening the digital treatment of iconography, using a classification used in international projects that have been established in this field, as is the case of the international standard Iconclass.
