An experience of European structures activity as factor for youth’s socialization is studied in the article. Review of the activity, conducted by European Union and Council of Europe in this direction, is vitally actual and useful for Ukrainian sate during transitional period for its whole social institutions, active implementation of European experience in government and self-government. There are several main approaches referring to youth that are determined in activity of European structures (European Union, Council of Europe) – such as education, freedom of movement, employment and professional training, involvement of youth towards volunteer activity (volunteer movement), studying of informational technologies by young people, cultural promotion, convergence of EU member states youth with other states, encouragement of youth’s civil initiative, education in the field of human rights protection, promotion of inter-cultural dialogue etc. In particular, experience of Youth Regional Network, established by European Regional Assembly (ERA) is studied in the article, which is a platform for consolidation of regional youth organizations, councils and parliamentarians throughout Europe. This platform acts as forum that allows young people to impact on regional and European policies by apуперplication of certain principles, methods and instruments for gaining determined targets.
