The Quality Evaluation and Planning Management of Guangzhou City Coastline Under the Background of Land-sea Coordination

Abstract

As the key interface for the implementation of the overall strategy of land and sea, the quality level and planning management of the coastline are closely related to both land and sea areas. In order to promote the high-quality development of coastal areas, this paper selected Guangzhou City as the research area to carry out our research, because it was an estuary and coastal city with more intense land-sea conflict. Firstly, the paper evaluated the quality of coastline in Guangzhou City, then found the main problems that restricted the quality of Guangzhou City′s coastline including the low quality of water, the weak connection between land and sea, the inadequate protection and restoration of natural coastline. So put forward fine management, land-sea coordination, intensive utilization and long-term supervision as core concepts, and proposed a series of strategies, such as promote the improvement of development and protection efficiency, the renewal and activation of coastlines′ functions, the dynamic monitoring of land use and shore use, and the establishment of a sound management system, in order to provide samples of estuarine and coastal cities for coastline quality evaluation research, and help promote the high-quality development of Guangzhou City′s coastline.
