CULTURA E LITERATURA NA AMÉRICA-LATINA, O ESPAÇO CULTURAL AMAZÔNICO E A LITERATURA INDÍGENA

Abstract

The article discusses American literatures as part of the process of expansion of European culture, as well as some peculiarities of the forms of Amazonian literary manifestations among the manifestations of Latin American literary cultures, based not only on their geography, fauna, flora, but also on the presence of the people who live in the amazonian region and give it form. In this way, it emphasizes the forms of permanence and updating of the indigenous textualities and the way in which quite diverse groups of writers have filled a discursive tradition that gradually expands.
