Underemployment in the productive and social structure of the province of Tungurahua – Ecuador

This research seeks to explain the relationship between underemployment and the productive and social structure in the province of Tungurahua, during the period 2007-2017, where it is essential to consider the productive sectors of the local economy and the social components of education, health and institutionalist. So, the econometric analysis was carried out to identify the relationship between the study variables and the presence of significance of the Dependent Variable was concluded with the following indicators: Tertiary productive sector, education qualification, public health service qualification and trust in the police. This indicates the simultaneous impact of the productive structure and social structure on the underemployed population.
