Abstract
This text has the purpose of analyzing the thematic special education birth of multiculturalism, affirming the need for a broader debate about multiculturalism in the universe. For their preparation broke the principle of multiculturalism approach, theoretical references: Oliveira, (2005, 2011), Mclaren (2000), fig (2011), among others, drooping in scientific research on the heterogeneity within the classroom, especially on special education was the focus of our study object.
