Cultural aspects of management and their impact on competitiveness of countries
Abstract
By globalizing business activity the world becomes the market where companies from various parts of the world operate, while increasing competitiveness represents the process of improving the business environment as well as successful adjustment of a business to emerging changes. Companies are expected to constantly evolve, adapt to the environment and understand cultural differences and their impact on international business. For those reasons, this paper will define the basic characteristics of the cultural aspect of management, as well as their impact on international business and the improvement of the competitiveness of countries. The profiles of the competitiveness of individual countries and the results of the competitiveness of countries according to the report of the Institute for Management Development will be presented in the paper.
