Abstract

The study we propose to the specialists in history wants to present the atmosphere that was found in the country, the expectations that the Romanians had from the works of the Paris Peace Conference. The study captures, taking information from the press of the time, the state of tension existent in those months, as the natural desires of the representatives of the Romanian state were regarded in the first part of the works with suspicion and mistrust, even provoking a situation of their rejection . The information that the study brings to light captures the efforts, the anxiety of a political class animated by national feelings.
