A guide to L-operators

Abstract

Our aim with this work is to prove that the construction of a quantized enveloping algebra U given in [4] by means of L-operators is the same described in Chapter 9 of [2]. An interesting application is the realization of the inverse of the Harish-Chandra homomorphism through the central elements described in Theorem 14 of [4].
