Separate groups of LFA areas not covered by the payments and their spatial differentiation in Poland

Without the adequate areas LFA support may be to abandonment of agricultural use of agricultural and potentially threatening rural biodiversity. The subject of the research was a population of individual farms situated in LFA areas in Poland. The work uses the information on the number of applications submitted for LFA payment and SAPS in 2004-2010. Additionally, areas of agricultural use declared in SAPS (2004-2010) and LFA (2004-2006) were subject to analyses. The work aim was to estimate the LFA areas in various groups of farms and describe their spatial differentiation in Poland. Due to data availability the simplest statistical time series analysis, regression analysis and chart visu-alisation were performed.
