Abstract

This article discusses the shaping of the social protection system and its’ social and historical mediations. It takes up central issues that guide the discussion on social protection, expressing the particularity that affects the health of workers. It demonstrates the social contradictions that arise in the relation between capital and labor and that affect the worker’s citizenship and sociability.
