The Poetics of Transformation in Contemporary Ural Poetry

Abstract

The author draws a connection between different generations of Ural poets through their attitude towards the poetic experience of meta-realism and partly of the Russian avant-garde manifested through the mutability of poetic images and transformation as a structural element of the poetic text on different levels. The author studies poems by V. Kalpidi, E. Turenko, A. Sannikov, Yu. Kazarin, A. Petrushkin, E. Simonova, etc.
