VERB AS A MEANS OF STATIC SPATIAL LOCALIZATION EXPRESSION IN THE KHANTY LANGUAGE (AS BASED ON OF THE SHURYSHKAR DIALECT)
Abstract
The article describes the semantic class of verbs of static spatial localization, identification of the internal organization of the lexical-semantic group (LSG) of the studied verbs, description of the distinctive features of these verbs and their selectional ones. Verbs of spatial localization are classified into two types: 1) the verbs with the meaning of static localization of one object in relation to the other one; 2) the verbs with the meaning of dynamic localization of spatial feature. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of semantics and functioning of verbs of static spatial localization. Taking into consideration location of the subject or object and its position in space, the verbs of static spatial semantics are represented by several LSG: the verbs with the meaning of the location of the subject (object) in space; the verbs with the meaning of permanent location somewhere; the verbs with the meaning of temporary location somewhere.
