The article is devoted to topical issues of transition of Russian education in the new educational standard. The subject of analysis is the concept of designing a physics lesson. The authors aim to reveal the peculiarities of the designing of the lesson taking into account the modern requirements to the educational process. A scientific and methodical analysis of official documents in the education sphere, scientific research on the formation of universal educational activities and programs in physics is the basis of the research. The results of the research consist in the fact that the authors, based on the analysis of the literature, designed a lesson that meets modern requirements. The hierarchy of the designing of the lesson is drawn up. Any lesson should be based on the basic educational program of the school (which is compiled on the basis of educational standards). They prescribed requirements. Based on these requirements, it is necessary to initially form an idea of what universal educational activities can be formed / developed in a particular lesson. On the basis of this representation is designed lesson, which will be developed by the selected universal educational activities. The research results can be applied in the educational process.
