Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and birds. A pilot project to assess the relation between the production method of the cheese and the environmental quality
Abstract
The production rules of the Parmesan cheese, influencing the nature and the extension of the cultivation of the area of production of this famous cheese, have a positive impact on breeding and wintering birds. The project is still running in order to confirm these first results.
