IL PROGETTO “IL PAESAGGIO LINGUISTICO TORINESE”

Abstract

Il contributo intende fornire una descrizione del progetto “Il paesaggio linguistico torinese”, consistito in un’attività didattica di ricerca sul campo con studenti e studentesse universitarie che ha previsto la mappatura di quattro quartieri (San Salvario, Centro, Porta Palazzo, Quadrilatero) della città di Torino. Dopo una panoramica sugli studi sul paesaggio linguistico italiano e sulle loro possibili applicazioni in chiave educativa, verranno illustrati gli scopi, i metodi e i principali risultati del progetto, sia dal punto di vista didattico, sia rispetto ai dati raccolti e alle lingue documentate. The project “The Linguistic Landscape of Turin” The aim of this paper is to describe the project “The Linguistic Landscape of Turin”, which consisted of a fieldwork activity with university students that involved the mapping of four districts (San Salvario, Centro, Porta Palazzo, Quadrilatero) of the city of Turin. After an overview of studies on the Italian linguistic landscape and their possible pedagogical applications, the aims, methods and main results of the project are presented, both from an educational point of view and in terms of the data we collected and the languages we documented.
