An important characteristic of contemporarysociety is people mobility; people travel, from manyreasons, all around the world (business, diplomacy,science, sport manifestations, leisure, etc). That increasesthe probability of accidents involving people far fromtheir residence places. The quality of the medical care iscrucial, in such situations, for saving human lives.Geographical, cultural and linguistic frontiers mayharmfully affect the efficiency of medical act. This paperpresents an overview of the actual involvement ofComputer Science in the growth of medical qualityservices and proposes a possible solution in providingessential information on the health state of patients thatneeds medical care far from their residence.
