Since the end of the 1960s, distance learning has been a key issue in Asia, which faces massive growth of its youth and large scale massification. In Myanmar, this system of education is highly developed, with 60% of new graduates enrolled in one of the two distance universities in the country. In order to describe the evolution of Distance Learning in Myanmar through time, we will rely on the interview of a teacher. It will be documented with various documents and institutional discourses that will shed light on the situation. Finally, the transitions described can be compared to those analyzed on other grounds (Remond, 2017).
