CONCEPT OF COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL DIAGNOSIS AND PREVENTION ELABORATION

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of methodology of hygienic analysis in dentistry in the context of its effectiveness in modern conditions. Author analyzes and compares results obtained by using different indexes of oral hygiene evaluation during the examination of dental health level in orphanages of St. Petersburg. With purpose to improve dental health in childhood and adolescence the concept of individual dental hygiene screening allowing to combine methods of communal and individual prophylaxis is suggested.
