There was carried out the analysis of clinical examination and activity of hepatocellular markers in blood serum for early diagnosis of liver lesions in children from the region with combined chemical and radioactive contaminations. It was found that environmental pathology had multi-system character in examined children and manifested with deconditioning syndromes, leading of them are hepatobiliary dysfunction, kidney and thyroid pathologies. It was proved that sorbitol dehydrogenase — more sensitive and most specific marker of diagnosis of liver lesions in children from environmentally unfriendly region than blood serum transaminases.
