DISTRIBUTION OF SULFUR COMPOUNDS AS A RESULT OF THE SULFATE REDUCTION PROCESS IN FRESHWATER LAKE SVYATOE

Abstract

The results of investigations of the state of the freshwaterLakeSvyatoe(Konoshsky District of the Arkhangelsk Region) based on data on the distribution of sulfur compounds in the water and sediments in the shallow- and deep-water parts of the lake are presented. The area affected by human activities and the tendencies for change in the condition of the lake were revealed.
