This text seeks questioning the understanding that it is taking regarding the issues of the limit in our educational institutions. To do so, intends to halt a conversation between author and situations of daily life in order to discuss the concept, and understanding the roles, especially by educators, the relationship with the children and their families. In addition, to sharpen as these roles are influenced by cultural and social relations, seeking to draw attention to some that care must be taken when we act in the direction of these limits and rules of collective convivências in educational institutions.
