A GEOLOGIA DO MUNICÍPIO DE ANHUMAS (SP) E SEUS REFLEXOS NOS RECURSOS HÍDRICOS

Abstract

The present study, developed through visual interpretation of aerial orthophotos related to the municipality of Anhumas (SP), aimed to observe and identify association patterns on the drainage network and in the occurrence of suspended groundwater, with comprehended on the geological and structural characteristics of the municipality. Thus, we sought to identify possible structural controls that reflect the water dynamics. The methodology was carried out through bibliographic queries in order to identify the previous work undertaken at the regional and local level, aiming to build the required theoretical foundations for the discussion and analysis of the results. In order to prove the results, a fieldwork expedition was conducted in specific areas, represented on the figures in this article. Therefore, it is concluded that, by integrating geological, hydrogeological and hydrographic aspects of a particular area of the municipality, one can observe their interrelationships reflected in the land area, and understand its dynamics and pinpoint areas of environmental fragility.
