Criteria for Assessing Professionally Oriented Scientific Texts for Future Teachers of English
Abstract
The article is dedicated to evaluation and assessment of professionally oriented academic and scientific writing for future teachers of English. The criteria for assessing the academic texts are defined; the supplementary descriptors for assessing professionally oriented scientific texts are underpinned. Solving the problem of self evaluation, peer evaluation, and teacher evaluation in the course of teaching scientific writing is offered.
